Essential Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Developing a Driven Sales Team: Through training, coaching, and product knowledge education, build a high-performing sales team that exceeds benchmarks.
  • Recruitment and Training: Recruit, interview, hire, and train sales team members. Provide ongoing motivation, advice, and counseling to ensure optimal performance.
  • Identifying Knowledge Gaps: Identify and address knowledge and skill gaps within the sales team, developing strategies to enhance their capabilities.
  • Promotion Understanding: Gain a complete understanding of all promotional programs and conduct regular department meetings to communicate promotions and execution strategies.
  • Merchandise Supervision: Supervise the tagging of merchandise for promotions, ensuring the maintenance of Show Quality standards daily.
  • Order Management: Use the company computer system and website to enter, update, and approve customer orders. Conduct random order verifications to ensure accuracy.
  • Staff Scheduling: Responsible for staff scheduling, including work assignments, rotations, training, vacations, breaks, absences, overtime.
  • Human Resources Responsibilities: Complete human resources paperwork, as necessary.
  • Store Operations: Open and close the store, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Communicate concerns and ideas with managers and ownership.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalency is required.
  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
  • Experience in management, leadership, and/or team building required.
  • Dedication to providing exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent communication, selling, and negotiation skills.
