SUMMARY
Cutting, storing, and distributing material, tools, equipment, and products for Retail Customers
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Filling and preparing customer orders for shipment
- Lifting, handling and moving metal products
- Mark materials with identifying information
- Using band saws and shearing equipment and processing equipment
- Retrieves material and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
- Using computer equipment, data entry.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
- Operating heavy equipment including cranes, forklifts, and processing machinery
- Must have basic math skills in order to read tape measure and calipers, comprehend decimals and fractions, and maintain understanding of tolerances.
- Safely execute loading and unloading in restricted spaces.
- Must be able to interact in person with peers and the public.
- Must be able to handle high stress situations.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
