We’re hiring a full-time Director of Healthcare Services, to join us at 41 Montebello Rd. in Pueblo.

 

 

What You’d Be Doing

As a Director of Healthcare Services, you will provide outstanding leadership and oversight to the staff members of Health Solutions Family Medicine and MARC teams, ensuring the delivery of exceptional care to our patients. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies, plans, and goals that align with our mission, executing them efficiently and effectively.

In this role, under the guidance of the Vice President of Medical Services or their designee, you will:

  • Oversee administrative, program, and personnel management, including conducting performance evaluations in line with Health Solutions policies and procedures.
  • Direct the day-to-day operations of primary care, behavioral health, and medication-assisted treatment programs, ensuring an integrated approach to patient care.
  • Provide formal supervision and written performance evaluations of staff, adhering to center policies and procedures.
  • Manage employee recruitment processes, including interviews, hiring, and terminations, as necessary.
  • Maintain productivity standards and manage utilization reviews to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Stay updated on payer regulations and ensure staff compliance with billing and documentation requirements.
  • Analyze clinical data to identify trends and training needs, ensuring compliance, and monitoring service quality.
  • Ensure clinical documentation by staff is accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
  • Assist in budget development and monitoring to ensure financial health and resource allocation align with department goals.
  • Foster professional relationships with other departments, community agencies, and stakeholders to enhance service coordination and patient care.
  • Lead educational initiatives for staff and the community, promoting professional development and public awareness.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures to maintain high standards of care and compliance.
  • Innovate and develop new service lines to meet emerging healthcare needs and expand patient care offerings.
  • Maintain expertise with Electronic Health Records (EHR), ensuring team proficiency and compliance with updates and changes.
  • Manage grants, including tracking, reporting, and data management, to support program funding and development.
  • Provide leadership coverage in the absence of other directors and participate in administrative decision-making.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and DEA regulations specific to OTPs and ensure program compliance.
  • Act as the Program Sponsor for the Opioid Treatment Program, maintaining necessary certifications and accreditations, such as CARF.
  • Exhibit proficiency in supply and inventory management, project management, and financial analysis related to services and medications.
  • Be available for on-call duties and willing to travel to satellite offices as required.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For—The Must-Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or a closely related field.
  • Excellence in written and oral communications.
  • Valid Colorado driver’s license and access to transportation during work hours.

 

What We’d Like to See in You—The Nice-to-Haves

  • Advanced degrees such as BSN, MSN, LPC, LCSW, LAC, indicating specialized knowledge and skills in nursing, counseling, social work, or addiction counseling.
  • Spanish language skills to better serve our diverse patient population.
