Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to quickly and accurately type, keyboard and use a variety of other office equipment efficiently and effectively with frequent interruptions.
- Advanced knowledge of computer operations and the ability to operate Microsoft Office Products, especially Publisher and Excel, internet search engines, Outlook e-mail and electronic calendar, social media, laptop, Zoom etc.
- Must have excellent record keeping and organizational skills.
- Must be flexible and well organized, able to prioritize projects, meet deadlines, and be able to work independently on multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrate professional public relations skills with ability to effectively meet and interact with the public and other staff and faculty within a variety of campus and other collegiate situations.
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality in regard to student records and departmental business.
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time.
Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two (2) years background in working in Athletics or related field.
- Two (2) years experience working in an office environment.

Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Previous experience working in a college and collegiate athletic department.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills and demonstration of cultural competency.
This is a full-time position with excellent benefits including: Medical, dental, vision, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and long-term disability insurance; Paid holidays; Sick Leave; Vacation; and Tuition waiver for employee and qualified dependents.
Pay: $18.68 - $19.32 per hour DOE; After probation: $19.79 - $20.55 dependent on performance.
