HVAC Technician- Maintanace

Job Summary:
HVAC Technician is responsible for performing installation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal functionality, efficiency, and compliance with OSHA regulations, industry standards, and company policies. This role involves servicing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, and conducting routine inspections to prevent system failures.

Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled HVAC maintenance for Lenox and Brookhaven buildings in accordance with manufacturer recommendations and operation manuals to ensure optimal system performance.
• Diagnose, repair, and rebuild HVAC systems when mechanical issues arise, ensuring efficiency and reliability.
• Develop and maintain HVAC preventive maintenance logs, documenting service history and system updates to support long-term functionality.
• Conduct maintenance and repairs for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, carpentry, and other structural components as needed.
• Assist inspectors and contractors with testing, inspecting, and repairing building structures, mechanical systems, and facility equipment, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Serve as a backup to Maintenance Technicians when necessary, assisting with general maintenance tasks to support overall facility operations.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, including fire, smoke, and panic alarms, maintaining safety and operational continuity.
• Complete work orders and special projects efficiently within specified time frames.

Education and Physical requirements:

• HVAC certification
• EPA Certification or in the process of obtaining 
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited technical school program or two-year college preferred.
• Must be able to independently lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds; team lifting required for heavier loads.
• Requires frequent reaching above, below, and at shoulder level.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
• Must be capable of working in varied weather conditions, including wet, dry, extreme heat, extreme cold, snow, and ice, with temperatures ranging from -5ºF to 105ºF

Schedule: 8:00 AM- 5:00 PM 

Pay: $28-$30 an hour
