We are currently seeking Pharmacy Technicians to join our dedicated and growing team. This is a great opportunity for candidates with experience, as well as those looking to begin a career in pharmacy services.


Position Summary:

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe, accurate, and timely preparation and dispensing of prescription medications. You’ll work in a fast-paced Long Term Care Pharmacy under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, helping us maintain the highest standards of care and regulatory compliance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, label, and dispense medications and supplies in accordance with state and federal laws and Parkview Health policies.
  • Accurately review patient profiles to ensure complete and correct order fulfillment.
  • Manage inventory by sorting, stocking, and returning medications and supplies.
  • Operate and prioritize within the pharmacy’s print queue and labeling system.
  • Assist with adherence pack corrections and provide basic support to adherence packing machines.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with the logistics team on the packaging and shipping of medications.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support pharmacy operations.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Basic computer proficiency (including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Ability to lift and move packages up to 30 lbs. in accordance with safe handling practices.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Preferred (but not required):

  • Prior experience working in a pharmacy or as a Pharmacy Technician.
  • Certification or specialized training as a Pharmacy Technician.
