Position Summary
The Trust Administrator provides direct consultation and support to trust beneficiaries and their families. This includes assessing needs, coordinating services, and promoting trust-funded solutions that enhance quality of life. The role also involves educating the public and professionals about special needs trusts and advocating for inclusive planning.
Key Responsibilities

Support beneficiaries in achieving lives of personal significance

Meet regularly with beneficiaries, families, and professional teams to assess and review needs

Evaluate support services provided through government benefits and supplement with trust resources

Collaborate with families and providers to create personalized support plans

Review, process, and monitor trust disbursement requests
-
Ensure services provided meet the needs and satisfaction of the beneficiary

Maintain accurate case notes and beneficiary records in the case management system

Participate in planning meetings and outreach events (e.g., vendor fairs, presentations)

Educate individuals, attorneys, and groups on special needs trusts

Stay current on trends and developments in the disability and financial services field

Participate in internal work teams and projects

Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, counseling, or a related field

Minimum of 1 year of experience in social services (e.g., case management or service coordination)

Familiarity with services and systems related to intellectual disabilities, mental health, and/or physical disabilities

Understanding of financial and legal concepts related to special needs trusts

Must meet Act 33/34 and FBI clearance requirements

Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license and properly insured vehicle for daily use
