Pay Rate: $21.00-$23.59 per hour
Work Schedule: Full-Time, 37.5 Hour Work Week
Location: Multiple Sites Across the Region with Frequent Local Travel

Position Summary
The IT Support Specialist will provide technical support to users across multiple locations, ensuring smooth operation of Achieva’s hardware, software, and network systems. This role offers hands-on experience, training opportunities, and the ability to develop strong IT fundamentals in a supportive environment. Reports to the IT Department Leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support to users at various Achieva locations
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
• Set up and configure workstations, peripherals, and related equipment
• Install, update, and maintain software applications
• Perform basic network troubleshooting as needed
• Document service activities and maintain accurate technical records
• Communicate clearly with staff to assess needs and resolve technical concerns
• Provide excellent customer service in all interactions
• Perform other duties as assigned — job responsibilities may evolve based on organizational needs
• Extensive travel (approximately 50% of work time) to Achieva sites throughout Westmoreland and Allegheny counties; mileage is reimbursable

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Associate’s Degree in IT or related field preferred
• CompTIA A+ certification (or willingness to obtain within the first 6 months)
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Comfort with frequent travel and flexible work hours
• Must meet Act 33/34 and FBI clearance requirements
• Valid PA driver’s license and properly insured automobile for daily use
