Description
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for keeping up to date equipment maintenance logs, inventory of machine parts, and update preventative maintenance manual quarterly. Performs the day to day routine maintenance of the facility as outlined by regulatory agencies and internal standards. The Maintenance Technician assists with all aspects of the property's maintenance including the preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance duties associated with a welding environment. This person is also responsible for following the maintenance program to protect and maintain the property.

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the following activities. These activities are not inclusive. However, they are indicative of the types of activities normally performed by a Maintenance Technician.
- Requires established organizational skills, with attention to detail and solid time management, and good interpersonal skills.
- As a key employee of the building operations interior and exterior, the Maintenance Technician is essential to the longevity of all equipment and the aesthetic nature of the property.
- The Maintenance Technician must perform the job duties with a view toward projecting a professional and competent image: Service to inside and outside vendors in a friendly and outgoing manner is also essential, while timeliness and maintaining a clean atmosphere are key.
- The position is fundamental to all mechanical functions of the facility and includes working closely with the Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Technicians, Production Supervisors, as well as, Production Employees.
- Strong leadership skills, customer service skills, technical skills, and problem solving abilities are required.
This position requires frequent exposure to the outdoor climate and weather conditions. The normal working environment requires routine and frequent meeting of critical deadlines.
