Job Summary:
We are seeking Press Brake Operators to join our production team. This position is responsible for operating robotic or manual bend/brake machines, ensuring high-quality parts production, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The Press Brake Operator plays a key role in maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards while contributing to our culture of teamwork and innovation.
Schedule:
- Monday-Thursday, 10-Hour shifts
- Occasional overtime may be required
Primary Job Responsibilities Include:
- Operate, program, and maintain robotic or manual bend/brake machines, including charting machine performance and administering routine checks/maintenance
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturing routings
- Plan sequences of operation to achieve optimal precision and tolerances
- Verify product quality through inspections, measurements, and reports
- Prepare raw materials for production, ensuring material quality prior to production sequence
- Perform machine set-ups, calibration, and adjustments as needed
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
- Follow and enforce federal, state, and local safety regulations, as well as SmartCap’s Health & Safety Manual
- Support process improvements and product quality initiatives
- Perform additional work-related duties as assigned
