Job Summary:

We are seeking a Custodian to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across our facility, including production areas, restrooms, break rooms, and offices. The Custodian ensures that all areas are clean, safe, and organized, while supporting a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement. 

Primary Job Responsibilities Include:

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitation of restrooms, break rooms, locker rooms, and office spaces 
• Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors throughout the facility, including production areas 
• Remove trash, recyclables, and industrial waste from designated areas 
• Clean and sanitize high-touch surfaces and shared equipment (e.g., doorknobs, handrails, etc.) 
• Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, soap, and hand sanitizer 
• Operate custodial equipment (floor scrubbers, buffers, vacuums, steamers, etc.) 
• Support special deep-cleaning projects and shutdown assignments as needed 
• Maintain supply inventory and notify supervisor when reordering is required 
• Follow all safety regulations and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required 
• Report any safety or maintenance issues to appropriate personnel 
• Perform other duties as assigned 

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• Previous custodial or janitorial experience 

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and OSHA safety standards 

Physical Demands:

• Frequent standing, walking, kneeling, and bending
• Lifting and moving custodial equipment and supplies 

Working Conditions:

• Frequent work in a non-climate-controlled environment with seasonal temperature changes
• Considerable exposure to noise levels from manufacturing equipment
• Occasional to frequent overtime
