Position Summary: The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for medication orders, inventory management, and dispensing medication in conjunction with the policies, procedures, and clinical supervision of the Consulting Pharmacist. The Pharmacy Technician must demonstrate the ability to work interdepartmentally with clinicians, third-party pharmacies, and patients.
Qualifications: Our ideal candidate for our Pharmacy Technician position will have their high school degree or equivalent. Our preferred candidate will have at least One (1) Year(s) Pharmacy Experience or Experience in a Clinic or Hospital and CPhT, ExCPT or Certification to provide immunizations.
*Proof of current TB test WILL BE REQUIRED in order to attend New Employee Orientation and an active BLS certification will be required within 90 days of employment.

Salary: $21.00- $25.26 hourly and considers preferred experience.

Physical demands:
Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. Employee is frequently required to walk, sit, stand or kneel and occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop. Must have ability to sit for longer periods at a computer. Employee must be able to travel between AHS locations. Possible potential exposure to communicable disease.
