We are seeking a high-energy, driven sales professional who likes a challenge and can seek out new accounts and discover and develop new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of embedded software engineering and tools.

 

 

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Drive design wins for embedded GUI/HMI projects for new customers
  • Prospect and develop business opportunities with minimal direction or assistance
  • Assist in meeting the business needs of customers by deploying Altia solutions
  • Consistently meet and exceed revenue targets and quotas
  • Develop strong, trusted relationships with key customers and partners through relationship building, technical competence, strong listening skills, and a genuine passion to guide their success
  • Provide accurate sales plans and forecasts that will be a key factor in overall company planning
  • Work closely with internal and external partners to drive new business opportunities
  • Be an active participant in new product development, sales strategies and marketplace analysis

Education & Experience:

  • B.S. or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related technical discipline
  • 5 years’ experience with demonstrated success in sales of embedded software, devices, or user interface tools
  • Familiarity with User Interface Development tools
  • Familiarity with embedded development technologies and embedded software development tools
  • Familiarity with and experience in the automotive environment
  • An excellent communicator within a team as well as with customers over email, teleconferencing and face- to-face
  • Engineering services sales experience highly desirable
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills
  • Prepared to travel ~75% of the time

Position Location: Remote, North America

Reporting Relationship: Reports to the VP of Global Sales

Position Status: Full Time 

Earnings Potential: $150,000 OTE, with a 50/50 base-to-variable split ($75,000 base salary plus performance-based incentives).  Compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
