Operations Research Systems Analyst (ORSA) will apply advanced analytical methods to support system development, operational testing, and evaluation, enabling data-driven decisions throughout the acquisition lifecycle. This role supports planning, execution, and analysis of experiments, simulations, wargaming, and operational test events.

 

Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Must have an active Secret clearance or above. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Apply operations research, statistical analysis, modeling, and simulation techniques to support RDT&E efforts in innovative ways
  • Support operational test planning by identifying critical operational issues (COIs), and measures of effectiveness (MOEs)
  • Provide analysis to support requirements determinations and associated documentation
  • Review and analyze Operational Test reports, SITREPs, EXSUMs, and other information to identify issues and trends
  • Research and respond to inquiries with data driven responses
  • Assist in developing program office templates and standardized requirements documents
  • Assist in reviewing, developing and revising documentation
  • Identify and support real-world problems with data analysis supporting system design and engineering
  • Conduct data collection, organization, and analysis

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering (Industrial or Systems)
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in ORSA support at other agencies.
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Understanding of Operational Testing and Evaluation

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering (Industrial or Systems)
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in ORSA support at Headquarters, Department of the Army, Program Executive Offices, or Army Service Component Commands
