Mayvin is currently seeking an energetic and motivated Subject Matter Expert to join our team as the Senior Manager of Human Resources. Must be a U.S. citizen

Must have an active Secret clearance

This is a full-time on-site position located in Mayvin’s Alexandria, VA corporate office.

Must be SHRM-SCP certified or PHR

 

Responsibilities

  • Administers and oversees the administration of human resource programs and a team including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits leave administration, disciplinary actions, disputes and investigations, conflict resolution, performance, and talent management; recognition and employee engagements; occupational health and safety; professional development and curriculum for continued career growth
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, new technologies in human resources, talent management, compliance, and employment law
  • Manage training program which includes developing training content, distributing, tracking, and maintaining required training reports
  • A firm understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulation
  • Provide expert guidance and management of Service Contract Act (SCA) employees to meet state and local requirements
  • Oversee onboarding functions for new employees to include the completion of new hire orientation, health and welfare plans, including benefit enrollments and changes
  • Negotiates with retirement plan advisors and benefit brokers as well as other vendors to determine best options for Mayvin
  • Other duties, as assigned

 

Qualifications

  • BS/BA in relevant field of study
  • SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP)
  • Ten (10) years of Human Resources experience supporting a Government contractor
  • Minimum of seven (7) years' experience leading and an HR team
  • Proficiency with various HRIS software

 

Preferred

  • Master’s degree
  • Knowledge of Paycom
