Mayvin is seeking a highly skilled Program Management SME to support USSOCOM at Fort Bragg, NC. The SME will provide leadership and guidance in program and acquisition management for specialized operational capabilities, leveraging operational knowledge in breaching and related systems to ensure mission readiness and operational effectiveness. This position supports continuous program oversight, technical continuity, and the transfer of capabilities, technologies, and best practices across programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the SME for programmatic, operational, and engineering aspects of Special Operations programs.
  • Provide informed guidance on breaching and specialized operational capabilities as they relate to program planning and execution.
  • Apply advanced knowledge of acquisition and program management functional areas, including Engineering and Technical Management, Contracting, Life Cycle Logistics, Test and Evaluation, architecture, system design, intelligence systems, and security.
  • Advise on the integration of specialized capabilities into program plans and acquisition strategies.
  • Oversee technical teams, ensuring compliance with design specifications, program objectives, and operational requirements.
  • Apply technical, operational, and analytical disciplines such as reliability, maintainability, and life cycle cost management to program planning and execution.
  • Coordinate Test and Evaluation activities with supporting organizations and serve as the Program Office focal point for assigned projects and systems.
  • Support development and maintenance of program documentation, schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation plans.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Engineering, Program/Project Management, or similar).
  • Minimum of 12 years of relevant operational experience in Special Operations programs, systems, or capabilities.
  • Demonstrated expertise in program management, acquisition, and oversight of complex defense programs.
  • Operational familiarity with breaching, demolitions, or specialized weapons is desired but not the primary requirement.
  • Highly desired: 10 years of direct program management/acquisition experience supporting defense or Special Operations programs.
  • Proven ability to lead technical teams, coordinate multi-disciplinary projects, and drive programs to successful completion.
