Packager

Aerometals is looking to add the following position:

Packager

Experience level: Entry

Pay range: $19 - $23 hourly

Schedule: Monday- Thursday 7:00am - 4:30pm & Friday 7:00am - 12:00pm

The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate the ability to:

• Follow traveler, drawing, and specification requirements pertaining to application, shelf-life, and storage.
• Follow all required safety requirements and regulations.
• Perform pre-paint operations such as sanding, cleaning, and masking.
• Demonstrate ability to part mark as necessary.
• Construct appropriate crate & packaging as specified in work instructions.
• Perform any other duties as required by the organization.

Qualification Requirements:

Education: None required.

Skills:

• Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
• Safety conscious.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds

Experience: 6 months of transferable experience in manufacturing environment. 

Training: On the job training.

Aerometals Inc. of El Dorado Hills, California is a 40-year veteran of commercial and military aerospace manufacturing. We offer a full range of production services including CNC machining and turning, sheet metal fabrication, welding, assembly, autoclave, and precision assembly. Aerometals has significant experience manufacturing critical application, militarized components to OEM engineering data for use on many fixed wing aircraft and helicopters. Customers include the US Military, Boeing, Lockheed, Sikorsky, etc.
