Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Staffing Agency (Kansas)

Job Summary:

We are hiring dedicated and skilled Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our healthcare staffing agency in Kansas. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care under the supervision of an RN or physician in accordance with individual care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, while ensuring proper documentation and adherence to safety protocols
  • Monitor patients for changes in condition, report concerns promptly, and implement appropriate interventions
  • Perform wound care, catheter care, and other skilled nursing tasks as needed
  • Supervise and direct CNAs and CMAs in the delivery of resident care
  • Accurately document all nursing care and observations in electronic or paper medical records
  • Follow all facility policies, infection control procedures, and KSBN and KDADS regulations
  • Travel to assigned facilities and adapt to different workflows and policies while maintaining a high level of professionalism
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams

Schedule & Work Conditions:

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Active Kansas LPN license in good standing
  • Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
  • Minimum 6–12 months of clinical nursing experience preferred (long-term care or acute care experience a plus)
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and time-management skills • Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel to various facility locations 
  • Must pass background checks and drug screening
