About Position:
The Catering Supervisor oversees day-to-day operations while providing excellent customer service and exceeding guest/client expectations. A successful Catering Supervisor has strong communication skills, thinks on their feet, is attentive to detail, and always leads by example. The ideal candidate for this role is an independent, hands-on leader dedicated to creating and maintaining a positive work environment.
Responsibilities Include:
- Supervise FOH employees during setup, execution, and breakdown of events
- Read & comprehend event orders
- Main point of contact for client/coordinators during events
- Effectively communicate with upper management, Back-of-House staff, and catering sales manager
- Maintaining a culture of teamwork, accountability, and success
- Maintaining food safety and sanitation standards
- Communicate product ordering needs with upper management
