Summary

Responsible for the functions of all ARKRAY USA sales and marketing teams. This position will provide leadership, strategic direction and management oversight of our own sales and marketing teams to ensure a robust sales and product development initiative.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Draft and represent strategic initiatives for their division as one of the Division Heads in the US organization.
  • Provide management oversight for all teams to ensure that sales and marketing objectives are being met.
  • Measure the performance of each team to ensure performance goals are met. Provide required reports to the COO, outlining the performance of each team, including the process and results monthly, quarterly, and annually.
  • Develop and communicate competitive compensation and incentive programs for sales staff; oversee the organization of teams and territories as necessary for optimum national market retention and expansion.
  • Collaborate with other Division Heads to understand the business needs of the company and the role sales and marketing play in that success.
  • Maintain an awareness of industry and competitive activities, best utilizing the sales and marketing force, necessary for successful business development.
  • Work together with the Marketing Manager and any relevant division to design the annual marketing plan, understand competitive pricing within the market and maintain the product pricing matrix.
  • Communicate and collaborate with colleagues in other ARKRAY departments to address customer and subordinate needs. Also, to keep the organization informed of industry changes and competitive issues.
  • Plan an aggressive Annual Budget for their respective division and invest in every effort to achieve the Operation Profit Goal of each team.
  • Within available resources, make staffing and hiring decisions to develop and structure the Sales & Marketing (Legacy) division so that it is commercially astute in its understanding of the relevant markets and has the competency to help support entry into newly identified market segments and channels, as well as grow in existing market segments and channels.
  • Address training needs (product, sales, marketing) with the Sales Support Division so that they may provide the training required.
  • Delegate the design and development of all sales and marketing materials to appropriate personnel while reviewing, as necessary.
  • Develop and maintain close relationships with key external stakeholders.
  • Develop deep expertise in all markets that the division encompasses.

Knowledge and Skills

  • 10+ years of experience working for manufacturers’ sales and/or market development utilizing their own sales and/or marketing force.
  • 5+ years of relevant industry (Medical Diagnostics devices and/or instruments and reagents) experience, preferred.
  • MBA preferred.
  • Strong contacts within the hospital, retail, nursing facility, and government facility markets preferred.
  • Strong awareness of profitability of the team’s operation.
  • Strong selling, communication, negotiation, and management skills
  • Initiative-taking and self-directed who functions well in a results-oriented and dynamic environment.
  • Situated near a major airport (Nearby the Plano office.)
