We are seeking a Warehouse Driver who will play a vital role in supporting our mission by facilitating the pickup of food and material donations throughout San Diego County. These donations directly support students and guests in our programs by enabling effective warehouse distribution.
Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate company vehicles to complete scheduled daily routes for donation pickups, adhering to estimated times of arrival (ETAs).

Load and unload donations carefully, ensuring items are properly packed to prevent damage during transit.

Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with donation partners.

Record all pickups and donations accurately using Pantry Soft, our inventory and data management software.

Assist in general warehouse duties, including organizing and distributing food and materials as needed.

Collaborate with warehouse staff to support daily operations and ensure timely distribution to program sites.

Demonstrate leadership and serve as a positive role model for SDRM students, volunteers, and staff.

Complete daily data entry and reporting tasks related to pickups, donations, and inventory.

The incumbent may spend a majority of time sitting, speaking and listening. He or she is expected to travel on a regular (or periodic) basis, as the job requires (see Qualifications above). The physical requirements of this job require bending, carrying, pushing, squatting, kneeling, reaching, twisting, climbing, lifting, grasping, walking, picking, standing, typing, pulling, sitting, lift minimum 30 lbs., sit or stand for extended periods of time, operate office equipment such as computer, printer, telephone and fax, walk on uneven ground, drive vehicles, trucks, forklifts, and other equipment ( current license required) , work around equipment and machinery, walk on uneven ground, operation of foot controls or repetitive foot movement, work with bio-hazards such as bloodborne pathogens, sewage, waste, etc. A valid driver license is also required.Â

Exposure to excessive noise, exposure to extremes in temperature, humidity, or wetness, and exposure to dust, gas, fumes or chemicals due to trucks parked in the warehouse.
