Heavy Laborer 2nd shift (871)

About the Role:
Join our team as a 2nd Shift Heavy Laborer in the Freezer Department! This role ensures our production processes run smoothly by performing general, non-mechanical labor tasks. You’ll be responsible for duties such as strapping finished goods, stacking pallets, inspecting products, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Strap finished goods, stack pallets, and perform tote makeups and tear-downs.
• Inspect products for extraneous materials and ensure boxes are properly closed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area in alignment with good housekeeping practices.
• Lift and move 50-100 pounds as required.
• Follow all food safety, legality, and quality policies, including GMPs and plant hygiene standards.
• Operate safely in extreme cold environments.
• Report mechanical or safety concerns promptly to the Supervisor or Lead.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Freezer Production Supervisor or Lead.

• Basic math skills.
• Ability to record data onto spreadsheets accurately.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with management and coworkers.
• Must be able to work in cold environments and overtime as required.
• Reliable attendance and safe work habits.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a production or freezer environment is a plus.
