Waste Water Operator 3rd Shift

We’re looking for an Assistant Wastewater Treatment Operator to help keep our operations running safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with environmental standards. This role supports the day-to-day functions of our Wastewater Treatment Plant, ensuring clean water discharge and environmental sustainability for our Hanover facility.

What You’ll Do
        •       Keep daily logs for water, electric, and fuel usage.
        •       Monitor wastewater treatment systems to ensure full compliance with environmental regulations.
        •       Inspect, clean, and maintain pumps, motors, and treatment equipment.
        •       Collect and test samples for accurate reporting and permit compliance.
        •       Coordinate with outside labs and vendors as needed.
        •       Handle routine maintenance, mowing, snow removal, and general facility upkeep.
        •       Follow all safety practices, GMP standards, and environmental guidelines.
        •       Serve as backup operator when needed.
 

What We’re Looking For
        •       High school diploma or GED required.
        •       Experience in wastewater, maintenance, or similar technical work a plus.
        •       Valid PA Driver’s License (Class C or higher) required.
        •       Must be able to obtain a Class E, Type 3 Wastewater Operator Certification within two years (company can assist).
        •       Strong mechanical and troubleshooting ability.
        •       Comfortable working outdoors and around equipment.
        •       Dependable, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented.

Work Environment

This position involves hands-on physical work — standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally. You’ll work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather, wearing required PPE. Safety is always a top priority.
