AREA AMENITIES AND COMMUNITY BENEFITS

While Las Vegas is best known for its world-renowned entertainment and the iconic Las Vegas Strip - with top-tier restaurants, shows, and attractions drawing nearly 40 million visitors each year - the city offers so much more for those who call it home.

With over 300 days of sunshine annually, Las Vegas offers year-round access to a variety of outdoor activities. The city is nestled in a valley surrounded by breathtaking natural landmarks, including Red Rock Canyon, the Valley of Fire, Sloan Canyon, and Charleston Peak. In the winter, residents can ski at the nearby Lee Canyon resort - just an hour's drive away - and in the summer, enjoy boating or swimming at Lake Mead or any of the Y's beautiful swimming pools.

Las Vegas is also a major sports hub, home to championship-winning teams such as the NHL's Vegas Golden Knights and the WNBA's Las Vegas Aces. Convenient travel is another perk, with Harry Reid International Airport located just minutes from most parts of the city.

As a final bonus, Nevada residents benefit from no state income tax and a reasonable cost of living. It's no surprise Las Vegas continues to rank among the fastest-growing metropolitan areas in the country.
