Leasing Manager – Axis & Foundry | Cleveland, OH

Location: Cleveland, OH (Split between two properties – Axis and Foundry)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and adaptable Leasing Manager to oversee leasing operations across two of our premier communities in the Cleveland area - Axis at Ansel and Foundry. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment, demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills, and bring a hands-on approach to driving occupancy and resident satisfaction at both locations.

This is a split-site position requiring regular presence at both properties. While only a few miles apart, Axis and Foundry operate with unique leasing systems and resident demographics, so multitasking and the ability to adjust to different leasing workflows is essential.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all leasing activities including tours, follow-ups, applications, and move-ins for both sites.

  • Meet or exceed leasing goals and occupancy targets at both Axis and Foundry.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of each property’s unique leasing systems, marketing platforms, and operations.

  • Conduct regular market surveys to ensure competitive pricing and positioning.

  • Create and maintain an engaging leasing experience for prospects and residents.

  • Manage lead follow-up, CRM systems, and marketing campaigns across both properties.

  • Assist with resident renewals, transfer requests, and retention strategies.

  • Coordinate with maintenance and property management teams to ensure unit readiness and timely move-ins.

  • Handle leasing documentation, application reviews, and income verifications.

  • Train and mentor leasing staff, as needed, at either site.

 

Salary: $60,000 - $65,000 with commissions. 

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Prior leasing experience in multifamily or student housing preferred.

  • Strong ability to multitask, organize priorities, and switch gears between two different operating models.

  • Excellent communication, sales, and customer service skills.

  • Experience with property management software (e.g., Yardi, RealPage, Entrata) is a plus.

  • Familiarity with the Cleveland rental market strongly preferred.

  • Must be self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working independently across multiple locations.

  • Reliable transportation required.
