Â
You will be responsible for planning and managing daily pickup and delivery routes across DSD, Hotels, Backhauls, and transportation territories. Using routing software such as RoadNet Anywhere and Oracle, you will create efficient delivery plans that balance workload, reduce mileage, and ensure timely deliveries while maintaining superior customer service.

What does your day look like? Some of your duties may include:

- Develops daily route assignments based on scheduling and customer requirements, utilizing RoadNet Anywhere for route standardization.
- Assists the Transportation dept. in addressing corrections or changes by providing research or local routing knowledge.
- Responds/reacts to drivers as well as road problem situations, ensuring maximum on-road efficiency and optimum customer service.
- Performs routine route analysis and planning for new and/or additional routes.
- Monitors and prepares reports to provide daily feedback on staffing and workload performance to ensure daily productivity.
- Handling scheduling of PMs and driver assistance.

Things you need to be able to do:

- Proficiency in RoadNet Anywhere (or similar routing software).
- Geographic knowledge and ability to analyze routing data for decision making.
- Strong problem-solving and resource allocation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-departmental coordination.
- Ability to work independently while processing complex data.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Able to sit for extended periods processing data flows.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs above waist.
- Ability to work in seasonal weather conditions and weekend shifts as needed.

Things that are a plus:

- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3+ years of routing, logistics, or transportation planning experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and routing tools.
