We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytically driven professional to join our team as Pricing Strategist. This role combines the strategic responsibilities of a Pricing Analyst with the operational duties of a Pricing Coordinator. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to collaborate across departments to implement effective pricing strategies that drive profitability and market competitiveness. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between strategic pricing initiatives and their practical application, ensuring that pricing decisions are both data-driven and effectively executed across the organization.

What You’ll Be Doing...

Some of your duties may include:

• Pricing Coordination:
  • Ensure accurate and timely implementation of pricing changes across all sales channels and systems.
  • Maintain pricing databases and documentation, ensuring consistency and compliance with company policies.
  • Coordinate with Sales and Information Services teams to resolve pricing discrepancies and system issues.
• Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Act as a liaison between Finance and Sales teams to align pricing strategies with business goals.
  • Provide training and support to Sales and Customer Service teams on pricing tools and policies.
• Data Analysis & Reporting:
  • Collect and analyze data related to pricing, sales, and profitability.
  • Develop and manage reports that communicate pricing performance to stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for pricing optimization and revenue enhancement.
• Pricing Strategy Development:
  • Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and customer behavior to inform pricing strategies.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of pricing strategies, providing recommendations for adjustments as needed.

Things you need to be able to do:

• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities with proficiency in Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Things that are a plus:

• Experience in pricing analysis, business analysis, or financial modeling.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Advanced degree (MBA) or certifications such as Certified Pricing Professional (CPP).
• Experience in the distribution or food industry.
