Summary
Responsible for overseeing the strategic and operational functions of material management, inventory control, shipping, receiving, and logistics support across various departments. This role combines leadership and oversight of day-to-day operations with long-term strategic planning to support airline aircraft maintenance, 145 repair station operations and government services programs globally. The Vice President will manage a diverse team, optimize material processes, and ensure mission readiness for both routine and emergency support needs.

Responsibilities
- Oversee shipping, receiving, and inventory management to ensure compliance with FAA, DOD, OSHA, GMM, RSQM and NIST standards.
- Establish, manage, and reconcile budgets for Stores, Repairs, and Inventory Management, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
- Manage Aircraft on Ground (AOG) events by coordinating the procurement and delivery of critical parts to minimize downtime.
- Oversee logistics actions to ensure timely and efficient support for Government Services programs worldwide.
- Manage spare parts allocation and provisioning plans to support scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
- Interface with the quality department to resolve material-related issues and ensure all parts meet company and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate international shipping and customs processes to ensure timely delivery of materials for global operations.
- Ensure availability of materials for daily maintenance and repair activities, including managing MEL reports and parts inventory.
- Lead, train, and mentor the logistics and material support team, fostering continuous improvement and adherence to operational standards.
- Ensure all material vendors and service providers meet contractual obligations and performance standards.
- Monitor logistics performance and costs, providing regular updates to senior leadership on material support and budget status.
- Continuously assess logistics processes to identify trends, resolve issues, and implement improvements for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
