SUMMARY
The Assembler is responsible for providing quality-produced sensor assemblies.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma or GED
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Demonstrated proficiency with basic hand tools and an understanding of standard tool safety and usage practices.

Ability to accurately read, interpret, and fabricate components from technical drawings or blueprints.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow both written and verbal instructions with precision.

Effective use of measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, tape measures) to determine accurate dimensions, angles, lengths, and distances.

Solid hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to perform detailed, hands-on tasks efficiently.

Willingness to comply with all company policies, procedures, and quality standards.

Flexibility to take on additional tasks or responsibilities as directed by the manager.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORKING ENVIORNMENTÂ
This position requires punctual attendance, adherence to scheduled hours, and the ability to work overtime as needed. Employees may occasionally be required to lift and/or move items up to 50 lbs. Work takes place in a production environment with moderate noise, equipment operation, and indoor temperature variations. Proper personal protective equipment (PPE), such as safety glasses and steel-toed footwear, must be worn in designated areas. Additional PPE may be required depending on the specific task.
Employees must be able to:
- Stand, walk, use hands and fingers, and reach outward frequently (up to 66% of the time).
- Occasionally reach above the shoulder, squat, kneel, or bend (up to 33% of the time).
- Occasionally lift or carry objects up to 50 lbs., and push or pull loads up to 40 lbs. as required.
- Operate basic hand tools and measuring instruments such as calipers, tape measures, and angle gauges with proper technique and coordination.
All work is conducted indoors in a manufacturing environment with defined safety standards in place. Employees may be exposed to moderate noise, dust, and other conditions associated with light industrial processes.
REQUIRED TRAINING
All required training is determined by the department supervisor and/or manager. Procedures critical to this position may be identified as such on the Department Training Matrixes, which are maintained by the Human Resources Department.
