SUMMARY

Final Assemblers responsibilities include kitting, building and final calibration of level units in the final assembly.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 1 – 3 years related experience

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Perform basic math functions, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, working with fractions, decimals, and the metric system.

  • Use basic computer programs, including Microsoft Office.

  • Read and interpret measurements accurately.

  • Operate power tools, hand tools, and measuring instruments safely and effectively.

  • Read and understand Bills of Materials (BOMs), Bills of Operations (BOOs), and blueprints.

  • Follow standard work instructions and ISO procedures.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

  • Communicate effectively with supporting departments.

  • Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisors.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORKING ENVIORNMENT

This position requires regular and punctual attendance, including working all scheduled hours and any required overtime.

Employees in this role will frequently stand, walk, reach outward, and use their hands for handling and fine motor tasks. Occasional physical activities include reaching above shoulder level, squatting, kneeling, and bending. Climbing and crawling are not required.

The role involves frequent lifting and carrying of items up to 50 pounds. Employees must also be able to push and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds, with constant handling of lighter loads.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required and includes safety glasses and steel-toed safety shoes or boots. Ear protection may be required on occasion. Use of a respirator is not required.

REQUIRED TRAINING

All required training is determined by the department supervisor and/or manager. Procedures critical to this position may be identified as such on the Department Training Matrixes, which are maintained by the Human Resources Department.
