Delta Community Supports Community Living Division (South New Jersey Office) is currently seeking a strong and experienced Regional Director to lead our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in team leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and staff development. This role is critical in supporting our mission of providing high-quality services and fostering inclusive communities. Reporting to the State Director, this individual promotes the community support of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families by overseeing state-wide service delivery, through supervision of Residential Leads and other DSP personnel in providing supports necessary to managing the day to day operations of regional services. This leader ensures that identified outcomes are achieved through effective and timely delivery of services by utilizing data collection, analysis and process implementation.  A key element of this position is the responsibility to oversee multiple locations while maintaining the highest standards of quality. In partnership with other leaders in the organization, creates opportunities to demonstrate long lasting, impactful and positive outcomes.

 

What we need in a Senior Leader
 

 

  • Supervise, support, motivate, and empower leaders who oversee multiple locations.
  • Develop innovative, high-quality support initiatives in keeping with regulations and guidelines.
  • Work closely with the leadership team in all aspects of program management, service delivery, program implementation, staff relations, staff development, and community support.
  • Cultivate and maintain positive outcomes with all local and state regulatory licensing entities.
  • Experience with funder contracts, licensing, and reporting requirements, and help develop and monitor measurable outcomes
  • Ensure the full capacity of programmatic resources
  • Responsible for the expansion of services and regional exposure.
  • Monitor the development and implementation of high-quality individual support plans.
  • Monitor the quality and quantity of support and services provided through various assessment procedures.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to provide quality services that meet or exceed accreditation standards and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Promote and ensure effective interdepartmental communications and cooperation
  • Participate in budget planning and monitor the expenditure of company and individual funds.
  • Work closely with all operations and administrative support.
  • Lead the development of processes to ensure all compliance standards are met.
  • Monitor trends and keep current in regulatory requirements and service delivery best practices.
  • Cooperate with the DHS representatives in any investigation or inspection.
  • Prepare required reports for the company and funding, regulatory, and accreditation agencies.
  • Promote and demonstrate ethical and professional conduct at all times, ensuring employees conduct themselves in an ethical and professional manner.
  • Promote continuous quality improvement projects and ongoing performance measures.
  • Works cooperatively with support functions such as Facilities, Human Resources, IT, and Finance to ensure effective delivery of services

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in a related field of study is required.  A master’s Degree in a social service field, management, or public administration is preferred.
  • Eight (8) years of experience providing community-based support, including demonstrated hands on leadership experience.
  • Valid NJ driver’s license
