What You’ll Do:

• Follow mixing instructions on batch card to produce seasonings or spices to meet customer’s specifications, per the operator’s direction.
• Verify quality of product with QC Lab before starting run.
• Visually inspect products during the process to ensure quality is correct.
• Assist with filling out the batch card during the run and complete the card at the end of each run.
• Assist with calculating total cartons/bags produced along with total weights and explain any difference between batch weight and total weight.
• Follow all safety, food safety and quality rules established by CSC and governmental agencies.
• Report any issues to the operator.

• Note: The spices can create a dusty environment and sometimes have high heat intensity or contain allergens.  If you are sensitive to these conditions, this job may not be the right fit for you.

• RELIABILITY - Team members who show up every shift, on time, and can work occasional overtime.  If you’re not ready to commit, this isn’t for you.
• Shift Differential: Receive an additional $2/hr. for hours worked on 2nd shift.

• High School diploma/GED
• 1 year of warehouse experience; food manufacturing preferred
• Demonstrated basic math and good communication skills, with strong attention to detail
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry heavy products weighing up to 100lbs
• Must be able to read and write English
• Ability to work in a noisy, dusty environment that may contain allergens and spices and with high heat intensity and may be in hot or cold temperatures for long periods.
• Ability to ascend or descend ladders and platforms and work at heights on platforms 6’+
• Near/far visual acuity and ability to hear machinery alarms is required
• Ability to follow GMPs.  We make food your family and friends will eat, which means we have strict rules for food safety.  Jewelry, false eyelashes, and fake fingernails are not permitted in the manufacturing plant. If these are things you can’t go without, this job isn’t for you.
