The Talent Acquisition Specialist will lead the recruitment efforts to attract and hire top talent for Aegis Chemical Solutions. This role involves developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies, managing the full-cycle recruitment process, and collaborating with hiring managers to meet the company's staffing needs and the bench strength of future leadership in Aegis.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Collaborate with and support hiring Managers on creating job descriptions for defined vacancy profiles, in efforts to ensure that the best available candidates are considered for open positions at each location (TX, LA, OK, and NM).
- Talent Development – Collaborate with HR Managers (Permian and other regions) on developing the bench strength of future leadership in Aegis. Identify potential classes and seminars for learning, maintain records of who/what/when/where details of completed trainings, next steps, and timelines.
- Handle companywide high volume, mixed workforce job requisitions across oil and gas field services industry (hourly and salary positions).
- Understand the organization’s overall business goals and develop and implement a talent acquisition strategy to ensure the right team is in place to support overall business objectives.
- Source candidates across online platforms and Paycom ATS.
- Prescreen candidates and submit to hiring managers for consideration.
- Coordinate offer extension process and pre-employment processes.
- Coordinates new hire onboarding process, including but not limited to: initiating background screening; drug screening; new hire IT ticket; coordinating start date with new hire/manager; coordination with DOT (if required); making sure new hire paperwork is complete.
- Maintains new hire checklists and timelines.
- Conduct surveys to gather insights into employee satisfaction and engagement levels.
- Manage employee recognition, appreciation, and engagement activities.
- Organize team building activities, social events, and company wide celebrations.
- Collaborate with remote office administrators on office happenings when necessary.
- Maintains Aegis careers page on website and posts/removes positions as necessary.
- Maintain professional knowledge and technical skills related to talent acquisition and talent development.
