Asset Integrity is responsible for ensuring the overall efficacy of the corrosion protection program, design, and implementation. They should be proficient in determining problems within current system treatments and be able to identify modifications to rectify those concerns.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

 

  • Diagnose field corrosion issues, to then design testing parameters to develop/improve products to match field needs
  • Using RCE and RCA to simulate field conditions for new and/or existing chemistries
  • Interpreting data to modify overall system application
  • Aids in product design and functionality  
  • Responsible for fluid and testing protocols
  • Serves as field expert for mitigation of routine concerns, including metallurgy
  • Takes on any overflow need for RFP recommendations, surveys, technical support
  • Writes full product recommendations based on performance data
  • Offers product enhancement solution to proposed corrosion failures
  • Customer failure meetings/reports
  • Ability to use/understand software modeling
  • Stay abreast of new and upcoming technologies

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or 10+ years of relative oilfield experience and/or mechanical background in conjunction with a Bachelor of Science
  • Previous lab experience in the Production Chemical industry is a plus.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs. at any given time, no greater than 20% of the time.
  • Daily physical demands of the position include, but are not limited to sitting, standing, bending, climbing, agility, reaching, trunk movements, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, low level work, dexterity of hands and fingers, seeing, hearing and talking.
  • Conversational ability to fully explain technical results to customers

 

TRAVEL

This position may require up to 25% travel
