Description

Provides support to the sales team by relieving them of administrative work.

Duties may include order processing/entry, price quotations, information input and management, RFP response, product training or other related tasks.

May require a bachelor's degree or its equivalent and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

Account Support Rep 

This role is part of our sales support team..  There are several duties like project coordination, customer order entry and at the higher levels of this role, managing a book a business, to help support our sales process and help support our customers.  

If someone has print or sign experience and has worked with customer accounts, this is a great job to come in and make a major impact right away.  There are bonus programs in place each month aligned to sales targets.  This role can build into a great career opportunity with an extremely fast growing company.   

From a training perspective, this person will go through our 5 month Customer Service Representative training.  When this training is completed and the person has been able to demonstrate all skills and knowledge needed, they will move into the Account Support Rep (ASR) role.  The ASR role is a critical role in supporting the sales process.  The focus is on tactical task management, entering orders into the MIS and supporting a team of Account Managers and Sales, to ensure a positive ordering experience by delivering high quality products in a speedy manner.

Sales and Sales Support

Internal Description

An account support representative is responsible for managing relationships with existing clients or customers of a company.  The person will be aligned with/support several Account Managers and Sales Positions to help with project coordination and entering orders into the MIS.  The person needs to maintain a good rapport with internal employees and the customer and look for ways to increase organic sales with each account. 

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients or customers
  • Ensure that customer needs and expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Conduct research to identify potential customers and generate sales leads.
  • Contact potential customers via phone, email, or online chat to introduce products or services and close sales.
  • Develop and implement account strategies and plans to maximize revenue and profitability from existing accounts.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support, answering questions and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Work collaboratively with the sales team to develop and implement sales strategies and tactics.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information and sales data in the company's customer relationship management (CRM) system.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and product knowledge to effectively communicate product features and benefits to customers.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and customer service, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve sales processes to increase productivity and efficiency.
  • Site surveys
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of client relationships

Work Schedules and Arrangements

  • Onsite position
  • Hourly plus commission
  • Hours
    • 830am-530 Monday through Friday
