HEIDENHAIN CORPORATION, a leading manufacturer of digital readouts, metrology products and CNC control systems, is seeking a highly motivated, self-starting Cable Assembler for our office in Schaumburg, IL.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Assemble and test cable assemblies using various types of fixtures and tools
- Measure and cut/strip wire to length
- Gather required materials using bill of materials (BOM) and material list
- Crimp terminals (manual or automatic)
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma/GED is required
- Technical training in areas such as soldering, print reading, ESD awareness and electronic component identification helpful/ preferred
- Strong detail orientation and communication/listening skills.
- Ability to work with others in a team environment and resolve problems quickly and efficiently
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
