About This Role

  • The Venue Opener is responsible for preparing the venue for events by completing setup tasks such as arranging furniture and décor, performing light landscaping duties, removing trash, and ensuring the grounds are clean and welcoming. This role also involves checking on-site equipment, coordinating with maintenance and design teams, and supporting event readiness.

 

Responsibilities May Include:

  • Ensure the grounds are open and inviting for all guests by setting up furniture and décor, performing light landscaping such as blowing leaves and debris or maintaining water features, and ensuring that trash is removed and placed in the appropriate receptacles
  • Assist in the execution of the design plan by moving and arranging furniture and décor as needed
  • Monitor and test on-site equipment as needed
  • Partner with maintenance, landscaping, and design teams to ensure any property issues are resolved promptly
  • Provide a great atmosphere for our guests and co-workers
  • Other duties as assigned

Experience:

  • Experience in a general labor role preferred
  • Experience in hospitality preferred

 

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to stand or walk for up to eight (8) hours or more in a fast-paced environment requiring movement
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish and English) language skills preferred
