Location: Souza Baranowski Correctional Center - Shirley, MA
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-3pm, No Weekends and No Holidays
Pay rate: $24.00/hour

The Medical Assistant/CNA:
- Conducts assessments for patients referred to treatment and/or enrolled in services including triage, COWS, vitals.
- Schedules and prepares documentation for all admission physical assessments, annual physical assessments and follow up appointments with the medical provider.
- Data enters all medication lists into the electronic health record for medication reconciliation purposes and as directed. Responsible for submitting and processing all medical records requests.
- Conduct toxicology screening and phlebotomy in accordance with the program policy/procedure and regulatory frequency guidelines. ▪ Strictly adheres to HIPAA and confidentiality policies when responding to inquiries for patient information or copies of information.
- Provides general cleaning maintenance of medical unit ensuring that it presents as a clean, comfortable, pleasant environment in compliance with health and safety standards.
- Orders, receives and stocks required inventory of medical supplies as directed.
