ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Develop and implement strategies that ensure operational activities align with ReadyOne’s cultural behaviors of accountability, diversity, honesty, collaboration, empathy, innovation, passion, and effective communication.
  2. Adhere to and execute company policies and procedures while driving continuous improvement across all operational processes.
  3. Set-up outgoing shipments.
  4. Monitor inventory in Print Shop and assist in minor repairs on printers.
  5. Pull orders the production supervisors request on sundries inventory and keep inventory control on all sundries in warehouse using WMS.
  6. Data entry all inventory received and released to the line.
  7. Control all inventory for special projects.
  8. Verify all items and quantity received matching packing slip to Purchase Orders, partner with Purchasing in notifying on any differences on packing slips and turns in receivers to A/P and send copies to Purchasing dept.; keep a physical count to ensure accuracy of inventory.
  9. Communicate with Line Supervisors on all daily sundries’ requests; arrange and control the organization of goods in the warehouse. Monitors frequent physical count to ensure accuracy of inventory and notifies purchasing dept of any shortages in warehouse.
  10. Keep an ongoing inventory of Print Shop supplies, replace small parts on printer as needed.
  11. Assist with the unloading of liner and shell fabric trailer.
  12. Verify packing slip that all rolls of fabric are accounted for.
  13. Partner with Warehouse Shipping Manager to assist in preparation of paperwork and shipment by quantity, weight and size on all outgoing shipments.
  14. Conduct weekly and monthly sundries audits for inventory accuracy.
  15. This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed on the job analysis are representative of the skill, and/or ability required.

Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required.

Experience: forklift operator experience desired; shipping/receiving; packing in related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Specific Skills: Knowledge of shipping and receiving clerical functions. English proficiency preferred.

Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, etc.: Forklift operator desired.

Other Skills and Abilities: English proficiency preferred/ Spanish proficiency helpful. Effective oral and written communication skills required. Proficient in MS Office.

Physical Demands: Required to stand for up to or more than 8 hours and walk. Frequently sits, bends, kneels, and reaches out with hands/arms. Must be able to lift/move up to/more than 25 Pounds. Work Environment: Factory and warehouse environment.
