Data Entry Specialist-Epicor

Position Summary

The Data Entry Specialist is responsible for collecting, entering, and maintaining accurate fabric cutting data in the Epicor ERP system. This role supports production reporting, job accuracy, and coordination with Supply Chain and Cutting Department personnel. Strong attention to detail, Excel skills, and ERP experience are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Gathers fabric cutting records and enters accurate data into the Epicor system daily.
• Consult with Cutting Department personnel on questionable paperwork submitted.
• Reports production units cut by job number and fabric yards cut by part and lot numbers.
• Close cut jobs upon 100% completion of required quantities.
• Review Epicor Cutting Variance Reports and escalate significant variances.
• Analyze cutting record trends and prepare simple charts or summaries.
• Collaborate with Buyers and Schedulers on job status and fabric availability.
• Conducts routine cycle counts of fabrics in the warehouse and cutting areas.

Assist Supply Chain team members as needed and perform other assigned duties

Qualifications

• Excellent data entry accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience with Epicor ERP or similar systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (sorting, filtering, formulas).
• Ability to analyze data and identify trends.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Office and warehouse/production floor environments.
• Ability to walk through facility areas and lift up to [insert weight] occasionally.
• No supervisory responsibilities.
