We are looking for the right person to join our Therapy team as a Occupational Therapist.

 

 

  • Provides direct patient care, evaluates functional needs and outcomes, consults with other professionals as necessary, reassesses patient status and adjusts care plan as needed to ensure optimal outcome.
  • Designs and implements a plan of care based on evaluation of patient status.
  • Conducts provision of therapy within accepted standards of care and in accordance with state law.
  • Provides occupational therapy in a home care setting, or outpatient clinic as assigned.
  • Communicates effectively with clients, relatives, professional and support staff to achieve desired patient outcome.
  • Adheres to established organizational policies and procedures, objectives, quality improvement program, safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
  • Maintains current and accurate records of properly signed prescriptions, patient evaluations, treatments, goals and plan of care. Ensures conformity to regulations and requirements of third party payers.
  • Performs patient care visits in accordance with Agency productivity requirements.

 

Position is Full Time and pays $70 per visit.

Qualifications

Minimum Education: Graduation from an occupational therapy program accredited by the American
Occupational Therapy Association. Master’s degree in related field preferred.

Minimum Experience: One year experience in Occupational therapy field.

Licenses/Registrations:
• Current license or eligible for license to practice occupational therapy by the Colorado Department of Regulatory Affairs (DORA).
• CPR certification.
• Current auto liability insurance in accordance with Agency policy.
• Current professional liability insurance in accordance with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agency rules.
