What You’ll Do

Lead with numbers, Empower with Insights

• Lead month-end and year-end close processes with precision and speed.
• Prepare accurate financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
• Assist in creating management reports and KPIs that help teams stay aligned and informed.
• Support external audits by preparing documentation and working with auditors.

Bring Cost Accounting to Life

• Analyze and maintain standard costs and BOMs.
• Investigate manufacturing variances and partner with operations to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Support cycle counts and physical inventory processes—keeping accuracy at the forefront.

Drive Operational & Capital Reporting

• Track capital expenditures and manage fixed assets and depreciation.
• Analyze product margins, scrap rates, and production efficiency.
• Evaluate inventory reserves and drive data-informed decisions.

Promote Compliance & Process Excellence

• Ensure adherence to GAAP, SOX, and internal policies.
• Help modernize and automate financial processes.
• Own documentation of key procedures to keep our operations audit-ready.

Collaborate Across Teams

• Partner with supply chain, procurement, and production leaders.
• Support budgeting and forecasting with meaningful analysis.
• Contribute to ERP enhancements and ensure data integrity.

What We’re Looking For

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
• CPA or CMA (preferred)

Experience

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in manufacturing
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and cost accounting principles
• ERP system knowledge (QAD preferred) and advanced Excel skills

Soft Skills

• Sharp eye for detail and deadlines
• Analytical mindset with a heart for teamwork
• Excellent communication and the confidence to challenge the status quo

Bonus Points For

• Experience in lean or Six Sigma environments
• Knowledge of inventory valuation methods and multi-site operations
• Familiarity with tax compliance
