ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with operations and maintenance leaders to provide electrical/controls troubleshooting expertise at eight Carolina Container Production Facilities and four Warehouse locations located in North Carolina, Virginia, and Georgia.
- Employee must be able to provide their own transportation. All travel expenses are covered by Carolina Container.
- Work with/train plant maintenance technicians to improve their electrical/controls knowledge.
- Coordinate, manage, and implement small projects dealing with machinery upgrades.
- Procure materials and equipment needed to assist in equipment repair.
- Build a database containing pertinent information associated with PLCs, Drives, etc. for all locations.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment through enforcement of applicable policy and regulations.
- Conduct Electrical Safety Training for all Maintenance Departments.
- Overnight travel may be required.

- The noise level in the work environment can be loud at times.
- Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts.
- May be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions.
- Occasionally exposed to high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles; vibrations.
