Description

Valet

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing prompt and courteous service.
- Safely park and retrieve guest vehicles in designated areas, following established procedures and traffic laws.
- Maintain accurate records of parked vehicles, including keys and vehicle information.
- Assist guests with luggage and other belongings, ensuring their safe handling.
- Maintain a clean and organized valet area, including sweeping, emptying trash receptacles, and reporting any maintenance issues.
- Monitor traffic flow and direct vehicles efficiently to minimize congestion.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including wearing proper attire and using safety equipment.
- Communicate effectively with other valet attendants, security personnel, and other staff members.
- Respond to guest inquiries and provide assistance as needed.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Required Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent

Required Experience:
- Minimum of one year of experience in a customer service role, preferably in a hospitality or related setting.
- Proven experience in handling and parking vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience adhering to strict safety and security protocols.

Required Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently.
- Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in various weather conditions.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain a clean and presentable appearance.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting is a plus.
- Familiarity with local traffic laws and regulations.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work environments.
- Ability to learn and utilize new technologies, such as parking management software.
