- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 5+ years of technical leadership experience supporting complex enterprise systems.
- 5+ years of experience supporting CMS programs or equivalent federal healthcare IT environments.
- Expertise in cloud-native architectures (AWS preferred), data lakehouse, microservices, and DevSecOps toolchains.
- Hands-on experience with Databricks, EMR, Spark, Redshift, and modern data processing frameworks.
- Deep understanding of federal security standards (e.g., FISMA, NIST 800-53, CMS ARS 5.0).
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams in an Agile/Scrum/SAFe environment.
- Strong communication and client engagement skills, including the ability to brief senior leadership and CMS stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS, Databricks, or similar certifications.
- Experience with Marketplace-related data systems, MIDAS, and related ACA systems.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform).
- Experience mentoring senior developers, cloud engineers, and security leads.

The annual salary range for this position is $100,000.00 to $140,000.00. Actual compensation will depend on a range of factors, including but not limited to the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, certifications, location, other business and organizational needs, and applicable employment laws. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
