Position Overview:

The Temporary IT Support Analyst is a temporary position covering a leave for 2 months. The position will require travel to the five boroughs. 

Job duties include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
  • Respond to queries either in person or over the phone.
  • Onboard users and train them on how to properly access desktop applications, software and programs.
  • Respond to email via ticket system from users seeking help.
  • Ask questions to determine nature of problem.
  • Walk users through problem-solving process.
  • Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
  • Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems.
  • Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems.
  • Install computer peripherals for users.
  • Follow up with users to ensure issue has been resolved.
  • Gain feedback from users about computer usage.
  • Run reports to determine malfunctions that continue to occur.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in a PC/local area network support environment.
  • Associate degree in related field, or combination of education and experience required.  Bachelor’s preferred
  • Strong technical knowledge of PCs, laptops, printers, and peripheral hardware devices.
  • Strong working knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office 365 suite, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams,
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve onsite and remote PC related computing problems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, and demonstrated ability to work with executives
  • Able to prioritize work, with strong follow up skills
  • Ability work in a collaborative environment with short deadlines
  • Must have a reliable transportation to and from work as some travel is required

$25.00 - $30.00 Hourly
