Position Summary
The CSR/Teller is a dual-role position that combines the responsibilities of a Customer Service Representative and Teller. This individual provides excellent customer service while assisting customers with account inquiries, opening and maintaining accounts, and performing routine financial transactions. The CSR/Teller builds strong customer relationships and promotes bank products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide prompt, courteous, and professional customer service in person, by phone, or electronically.
- Assist customers with opening new accounts, including checking, savings, CDs, and IRAs.
- Process teller transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing.
- Balance cash drawer and adhere to all cash-handling procedures.
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products and services.
- Respond to account inquiries and resolve customer issues effectively.
- Ensure compliance with all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with branch operations including vault duties, end-of-day balancing, and reporting.
- Participate in sales initiatives and contribute to branch goals.
