Required: Winter Education Technician
- Experience working with school groups, camps, or youth programs (formal or informal);
- Skills in lesson planning and program delivery, especially curriculum-based education;
- Experience developing or delivering interpretive talks, guided walks, or hands-on activities;
- Ability to communicate complex natural or cultural resource topics to audiences of different ages;
- Customer service or visitor services experience (such as working in a visitor center, museum, or education setting);
- Working effectively with staff, volunteers, or community groups;
- Must provide a valid driver’s license and possess a clean driving record; and
- Successful applicants must complete a Department of Interior (DOI) Background Investigation (BI) or submit paperwork to National Park Service human resources indicating an active and fully adjudicated BI has already been completed prior to beginning position. This position involves both indoor and outdoor work, requiring some physical effort such as loading and unloading brochures and educational/interpretive materials, as well as occasional hiking for guided walks, field trips, or community events.
 There is occasional exposure to environmental conditions such as heat, cold, and temperature changes.
