WHO WE’RE SEEKING:
We’re looking for a trailblazing Director of Catering to lead the charge in creating unforgettable guest experiences through dynamic catering and events. This individual will embody the heart and soul of the Fort Worth Stockyards while championing our values, brand, and culture. They are a natural leader who brings passion, creativity, and a drive for excellence to every guest interaction and team collaboration.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Direct all aspects of catering sales to meet and exceed revenue and event goals
- Inspire and lead the Catering Sales team to embody Hotel Drover’s values and guest-focused culture
- Build genuine relationships with clients and provide creative, custom-tailored solutions for events
- Lead site visits and develop impressive proposals that reflect Hotel Drover’s elevated service and brand
- Collaborate closely with all departments to ensure event success from start to finish
- Monitor service scores, guest feedback, and internal quality checks to implement service improvements
- Recruit, hire, coach, and develop a high-performing, service-driven team
- Forecast and manage catering budgets and drive profitability through strategic planning
- Keep a pulse on the local market, industry trends, and competitors to shape future strategies
- Champion internal communication and host regular team meetings to align goals and share successes
- Act as the department head in the absence of the Director of Sales & Marketing
