The Marketing Procurement Manager is responsible for developing and managing procurement partnerships with marketing partners to drive performance, maximize lead capacity, and implement incremental strategies that enhance revenue growth and cost efficiencies. This role combines procurement expertise with marketing knowledge to ensure efficient allocation of marketing resources while maintaining quality and compliance standards. The position requires strong negotiation skills, strategic oversight of campaign performance, and proactive risk management to ensure compliance and operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Partnership Management & Vendor Relations
    • Oversee end-to-end procurement partnerships with marketing vendors and partners
    • Build and maintain relationships with key marketing vendors and service providers
    • Collaborate with the Marketing Organization to ensure all partnerships align with the Company's objectives
    • Foster strong relationships with marketing partners to ensure mutual success and long-term growth
    • Evaluate vendor performance and maintain a preferred vendor database
    • Conduct regular market analysis to identify new vendors and opportunities for cost savings
  • Negotiations & Contract Management
    • Lead negotiations with marketing partners to secure favorable terms in alignment with compliance, commercial, financial, operational, and performance requirements
    • Ensure agreements protect the Company's interests while maintaining strong partner relationships
    • Maintain accurate documentation of all vendor agreements and transactions
  • Campaign Oversight & Optimization
    • Oversee campaign execution, optimization, and reporting
    • Ensure marketing campaigns align with business goals and deliver measurable ROI
    • Continuously refine strategies to improve lead quality, conversion rates, and overall marketing efficiency
  • Cost Management & Optimization
    • Analyze marketing spend across channels and vendors to identify cost-saving opportunities
    • Develop and track KPIs for marketing procurement efficiency
    • Implement cost control measures while maintaining quality standards
    • Create and maintain procurement budgets for marketing initiatives
    • Monitor market trends and pricing to ensure competitive rates
  • Performance Management & Accountability
    • Implement measurement frameworks and performance analytics to track campaign effectiveness
    • Hold marketing partners accountable for meeting key performance indicators (KPIs) and contractual obligations
    • Identify underperforming areas and implement corrective actions to optimize results
  • Risk & Compliance Management
    • Monitor marketing activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., TCPA, CAN-SPAM, FTC regulations)
    • Identify, escalate, and remediate compliance breaches or performance concerns in a timely manner
    • Proactively mitigate supplier risks to protect the Company's interests
    • Establish and maintain procurement policies and procedures for marketing services
    • Ensure vendor compliance with company policies and industry regulations
    • Collaborate with the legal department to ensure vendor contracts meet compliance requirements
  • Marketing Partner & Activation Growth
    • Identify, onboard, and test new marketing partners based on annual, quarterly, and monthly demand forecasts
    • Expand supplier diversity and explore innovative marketing opportunities for revenue growth
    • Reduce media concentration risks by diversifying marketing channels and mitigating supplier dependencies
  • Testing & Innovation
    • Develop and execute testing initiatives with new marketing partners and engagement channels
    • Prioritize working directly with source media providers to reduce reliance on resellers
    • Implement scalable and repeatable processes for assessing new opportunities and optimizing existing campaigns

Minimum Position Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, or related field

Work Experience: 5+ years of procurement experience, preferably in marketing or advertising services

Licenses/Certifications: Certification in procurement or supply chain management (CPSM, CPM, or similar) preferred.

Systems: Procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite experience is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills

  • Proven track record of cost optimization and savings
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience in mass tort marketing or legal marketing 
  • Knowledge of marketing analytics and performance metrics
  • Experience with marketing compliance requirements
  • Background in agency or vendor-side marketing services
